The J Series oil pan baffle is an entry-level product designed to work best as possible, within the design of the factory pan. It does a good job reducing the oil sloshing around under braking, acceleration, left, and right hand turns.
The baffle encloses the sump below the resting oil level but has cutouts for the pickup tube and pickup tube brace to pass through. Multiple openings around the perimeter aid in return of oil back to the pickup area.
